International Law is an incredibly broad topic which covers state jurisdicitions， diplomatic immunity， environmental law， law of the sea， economic law， war， etc。 This book covers all these topics in-depth， while still remaining compact as a book。 Different critiques are also given in the passages: f。e。 international law's inability to adress certain issues because of the system of state sovereignty。 International law begins and ends with the state and the treaties it has signed and how it and ot International Law is an incredibly broad topic which covers state jurisdicitions， diplomatic immunity， environmental law， law of the sea， economic law， war， etc。 This book covers all these topics in-depth， while still remaining compact as a book。 Different critiques are also given in the passages: f。e。 international law's inability to adress certain issues because of the system of state sovereignty。 International law begins and ends with the state and the treaties it has signed and how it and other states normally behave。 I read this book as a student for attaining a complete overview of international law and its subdivisions - which penetrate through all legal systems throughout the whole world and make it so that different systems can interact with each other internationally。 My interest was in international economic law and law of the sea mainly， and this book proved incredibly enjoyable in learning more about these and the other fields。 。。。more
